Are you struggling to talk about your research? Do your arguments seem vague and elusive? This online course helps you develop, refine, and present your research ideas in a supportive environment. We’ll explore techniques for boosting creativity, communicating research to different audiences, and dealing with feedback. Through a range of activities, you’ll clarify your objectives and build a compelling research narrative.
By the end of the course, you’ll have:
- A clear understanding of your research questions
- Experience of communicating your research to others
- Techniques for giving and receiving constructive feedback
- More confidence in talking about your research in different contexts
- A peer support group
You’ll also get the opportunity to present to the group and receive constructive feedback. This is done either through Zoom or by submission of a pre-recorded video. Full guidance is provided.
Each week, we’ll address a specific topic, with plenty of opportunity for discussion. Between sessions, you’ll have activities to work on at your own pace, alongside optional peer group sessions.
